Bring in a few photos of your space, along with some rough wall measurements. Then a member of our friendly and experienced team will talk you through the options.

Choose your fire for your bespoke media wall

Your electric fire is the heart of the media wall. It sets the tone and creates the atmosphere.

A member of the media wall team will help you choose from brands we know and trust. These include industry leading companies  including New Forest, British Fires, and Gazco. You’ll be able to see the flame effects and heat options in person.

We’ll also talk through heat output, installation height, and how the fire will look once it’s installed.

Plan the layout and features

Once you’ve chosen your fire, features and wall style, we’ll design the layout. Every wall we build is made to measure.

We consider your TV size, ceiling height, storage needs, and whether you want features like open shelving, closed cupboards or ambient lighting. We also plan the position of plug sockets, cable routes and lighting circuits. Helping to keep everything hidden and clean looking

You’ll know exactly what to expect before we start the build.

Next, we book your home survey. One of our experienced installers will visit to take full measurements and check every detail.

This includes:

• Wall width and ceiling height
• Plug socket and cable access
• TV and fire placement
• Any existing features like radiators or chimney breasts

This makes sure the install runs smoothly and without delays.

Bespoke media wall installation

Installation usually takes between three to five days, depending on the design.

We build the stud frame, run all the cabling and fit the fire. We then create the shelving or alcove sections. If you’ve chosen LED strip lighting or spotlights, these are wired and fitted at this stage too.

Everything is built square, level and to scale, with clean edges and strong fixings.

Plaster and finish

The final stage is the plastering. This gives the wall its smooth, finished surface and makes it ready for paint, wallpaper, tiles or panels.

We test the fire and lighting before we leave and make sure your TV can be mounted safely. You’re left with a blank canvas that’s ready for decorating.

Yes. We design everything to fit your space. We often work around features like radiators, windows or uneven walls.

Do you supply the fire or do I need to buy it separately?
We supply and install everything. You’ll choose your electric fire in the showroom and we’ll handle the rest.

Is the wall ready to paint after the build?
Yes. We leave it fully plastered and ready for decorating.
