Our New Sheffield Showroom at Ponsford Is Coming Soon

We’re thrilled to announce that Mansfield Fireplace & Stove Centre is opening a brand-new showroom inside Ponsford, Sheffield. This marks a major step forward for our business. It allows us to bring our range of fires, fireplaces, stoves and media walls closer to our growing Sheffield customer base.

The new showroom will officially open in January 2026, and while the final date will be confirmed soon, we couldn’t wait to share the news.

From media walls and electric fires to handcrafted stoves and traditional fireplaces. The new space will offer a focused display of our best-selling designs. Most importantly, the Sheffield showroom will be manned by an expert member of the Mansfield Fireplace & Stove Centre team. Someone who can talk customers through fire types, finishes, flue systems and installation options in person.

A Natural Next Step for Our Family-Run Business

According to company directors George and Joe Ward, opening a Sheffield showroom has been part of the plan for some time.

We’ve built a strong reputation across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire,” says George. “But over the past few years we’ve seen more and more customers visiting us from Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Opening a space at Ponsford gives us the chance to serve those customers locally, while still offering the same expert advice and product knowledge we’re known for.

Joe adds:

“Being invited to showcase our brand at Ponsford is something we’re incredibly proud of. Their reputation for quality and design matches our own approach. This space lets us focus on the key areas our customers are most excited about, fireplaces, stoves, fires and, of course, our bespoke media walls.”

New Charnwood Partnership Sparks New Opportunity

The move into Sheffield was partly inspired by our new exclusive Charnwood dealership for South Yorkshire.

Charnwood is one of the most respected stove manufacturers in the UK. A family-run business based on the Isle of Wight with a reputation for long-lasting, British-built appliances. Mansfield Fireplace & Stove Centre is now the only official Charnwood supplier for Sheffield and South Yorkshire. This new contract complements our existing exclusive coverage of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

“Charnwood approached us earlier this year to offer exclusivity in South Yorkshire,” says George. “That was the moment we realised we needed a proper presence in Sheffield to support the brand and our customers.”

The new space will feature a hand-picked range of fireplaces, electric and gas fires, freestanding and inset stoves, and a selection of our most popular media wall designs. Visitors will be able to:

• View product finishes and live displays
• Book a free site survey direct from the showroom
• Get advice on flues, electrics, building work and layout

Customers can also arrange visits to the main Mansfield showroom to view the full range of designs and working displays.
